This last weekend was great! The weather was beautiful in Portland and we had 3 whole days to hang out and take advantage of it. On Saturday, we hosted a baby shower for Derek & Meghann at our house. For anyone reading this who doesn't know yet, Gavin is getting a little cousin in July! We can't wait! We had fun decorating tiny onesies for Baby Horst and visiting with everyone.

And of course, yesterday was great because it was my first Mother's Day. :) It was another sunny day, so Paul and I took Gavin to the park downtown where we used to live and we ate lunch there and played with him in the fountain. After he got used to the cold water, he really liked playing in it. Yesterday was also Gavin's 8-month birthday and he celebrated by waving bye-bye and sleeping all night un-swaddled for the first time! Our little Bubba is getting so big! :) He also has 4 teeth now and is working on some more. Here are some fun shots from the park (note: the bandaid on his head is to protect a little spot of eczema we've been treating).
