A House of Our Very Own!

In a year filled with exciting events, Paul and I have decided to add another fun element to our lives - home ownership! We've been looking at houses in the area for a few months and finally made an offer on one the other day. We just found out it was accepted last night, so barring any huge problems we find during inspection, etc., this is the house we'll soon be living in!

Christmas in Tucson & Salem!

Since I am too lazy to bring my camera to holiday functions, I have to rely on others to send me their photos afterwards...which is why I'm just now blogging about Christmas.
So, Paul and I went to Tucson for a few days before Christmas to visit his brother Pat, his wife Shelley, and their children Eilise and Charlie. We had a great time hanging out with them, and the kids loved having their uncle and new aunt around. In fact, I think I had at least one child on my lap, holding my hand, or cuddling up against me the entire time! :) They're the cutest kids and I absolutely love being an aunt.

The first day there, we went to the desert museum & wildlife park where we saw hummingbirds, bobcats, bats, and many a cactus. The next night, we went to Shelley's parents' for a great holiday dinner. Eilise and Charlie really wanted to dress like Uncle Paul and Aunt Megan, so you can see we had little body doubles in the pictures. :)

On the 24th & 25th, we were at my mom's in Salem. We had a lot of fun playing games, talking, singing carols, and eating. As usual, Gabby got a new outfit and passed out early.
