Family time

We've had a busy week or so here in Oregon. My grandmother celebrated her 80th birthday over the weekend so we spent time with family in Albany on Saturday and had some formal family portraits taken (to be posted soon I hope). It was fun to see our family from out of state again, and they loved meeting Gavin. On Sunday, my dad flew in from Maryland to stay with us for a few days and he joined my older brother, Ryan, at our house. They really bonded with Gavin and hated to leave! Tonight, we're back to a quiet night in our house after saying good-bye to Dad and Ryan. Here's a recent shot or two from the last week. As soon as I get some more pictures from my family, I'll post them (okay Krissy & Mom?).

Beef Cake!

Gavin has become HUGE recently and has gained 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks. He's now up to 9 pounds and has a really cute double chin and pinchable cheeks. There have been some smiles, but mostly unintentional we think. He follows our voices now and seems to recognize us, so at least we're having some fun interactions. Can't wait for the cooing!

Sleep deprivation...

Since we're not sleeping much these days (or nights), most spare moments are spent dozing while Gavin naps (not updating the blog, sadly). He's growing like a weed and getting a fuller face now, and I think he's getting a bit of an attitude sometimes. :) Here are some recent pics of our little angel:
